Being a company that tries to offer the best fitness experience known to man, it’s only natural that LA Fitness would look to establish a premium club in the heart of Bloomfield Hills, a city that prides itself on offering the best of everything. Conveniently located on Telegraph Rd just north of US-24, the building conveys a sense of conservatism when compared to other gyms the company has recently built. Perhaps it’s more in line with the expectations of those who live there.
Regardless of its curt exterior, the Bloomfield Hills LA Fitness center offers a full compliment of services that the company is known for. From fitness zones to child care, from group exercise classes to one-on-one personal training, no element which one would expect to be incorporated into a super-gym has been left out.
Busy families are able to walk right in the front door and quickly drop off their little ones at the certified Kids Klub child watch area on any day except for Sunday. Children are kept active and busy at LA Fitness with a full compliment of age-appropriate educational toys and activities which keep them begging to come back again and again. A fringe benefit of this, of course, is that the kids serve as an additional motivator to keep mom and dad consistent in striving toward their fitness goals.
Once inside the heart of the gym members are presented with a myriad of exercise choices all of which work together to keep the time you spend at the Bloomfield Hills LA Fitness more on the fun side so that working out doesn’t become simply another mind-numbing routine that must be pressed through each day. Strength training is forged in either the selectech machine training or free weights areas. Endurance is gained in the cardiovascular training area which maintains a full compliment of state-of-the-art cardio equipment. Speed, dexterity, and coordination are all enhanced in the group exercise training sessions which are offered each day of the week. Group classes at all LA Fitness locations are free as well, which is a nice little bonus. Finally, both drive and competitive instinct are sharpened on either the basketball or racquetball courts. There's something for everyone at this gym.
Whether working out solo is your thing or you find yourself inspired when amongst dozens of other fitness-minded individuals who are thrashing it out in a Cardio Kickboxing class, this LA Fitness location goes the extra mile to insure that there is something that appeals to everyone. Furthermore, the facility offers premium locker rooms, juice bar, spa and sauna to it’s members to ensure that the overall experience is nothing less than stellar.
