Offering cardio training, group classes, swimming, weight training, basketball, and racquetball, the Eastlake, CA LA Fitness is primed and ready to cater to the quality-conscious residents of the area. Read the reviews below and you’re sure to hear people talking about the place being busy…but that’s probably because the members actually show up to enhance their level of fitness instead of paying for a gym they never who up at.
This gym features all of the major elements which LA Fitness facilities are known for. This includes both basketball courts and racquetball courts, a lane-divided swimming pool for doing laps, two strength training areas, group class zone, massive spinning class studio, and a cardiovascular training area.
Those looking to enhance strength by building muscle can do so either in the free weight area or by using the selectech machines. Those who choose free weights will find equipment setup for the standard bench press, incline bench press, a power squat rack, rows of dumbbells, and more. Those who like a little more structure to their workout will most likely lean toward the selectable weight machines. These are setup in such a way that members can either follow a natural full-body circuit training regimen or focus on specific muscle groups as they see fit. Either way, those looking to get strength training results out of their LA Fitness membership will be able to pack on muscle which results in a natural, slow-burn of fat throughout the entire day, the result being a firm, toned physique that you’re not ashamed of.
Cardio junkies will love the host of elliptical trainers, treadmills, stair climbers, rowing machines, and more. As is the case with any chain of gyms, the quality of equipment maintenance at various LA Fitness locations is vulnerable ot the changing priorities of those who are in charge of each particular gym. A gym that is top-knotch today and rarely has a machine break down could end up with aging equipment that needs to be replaced in a few years. It's important to check the reviews below to find out if current members are reporting the equipment as being in good condition most of the time or not.
All the amenities typically associated with this chain of super-gyms are found at this particular club. This includes the premium locker rooms with attached cedar-walled sauna, bubbling spa adjacent to the pool area, and the nrgizer juice bar. Those with children will be happy that in-house child care is offered in the form of the gym’s Kids Klub center. Children are kept engaged in both games and learning activities which keep them begging to go back for more and help keep mom and dad on track to meeting their fitness goals.

Reviews of the Eastlake, CA LA Fitness center can be found below. You’ll notice that this gym is a bit different than some others in that many of the female members will take the time to get “done up” before working out. The staff are also known to work a bit harder to keep the place clean as the locals are known to expect it as such. Feel free to write a review of your own if you have some insider knowledge about this gym which you feel others who may be thinking of signing up may benefit from.

Well..im an LA fitness member in Litchfield AZ and i was happy at first with their services until one time i used their swimming pool and jaccuzi to relax from a tiring day and the next day i got up itching with alot of ringworms around my body and i always take a shower after i use the facility but this time it seems that this dint help. the next day i went and worked out but did not use the swimming pool facility again but i went to check if it was clean enough so that i may tell the workers there about my case. but guess what they had put a sign on the Jaccuzi area telling people not to use it for afew days. so this made me know that they either realized it wasn’t clean enough or someone complained about it. so since then i decided never to use that facility because i had to seek medical attention for those ringworms and fungi infection. so i need to advise people who use that facility to be very careful and make sure its clean enough before they get in. but the most annoying thing is that here in Arizona it’s very hot during summer time so people need to find a place to go swimming to cool down from the heat and this was actually my main thing for joining that Gym but i put my health first so i will never use that swimming facility again!!!period!! and they need to clean it more frequently because its a public facility people come from everywhere and some dont even shower well or they just dont shower everyday and they carry all sorts of germs and viruses with them. secondly the gym is not really all that clean the changing room area and the bathrooms are not cleaned well and they have some kind of smell that is not really good, so thats another thing that i dont like about that gym and they need to step up and do something about it. Finally it gets too crowded every evening to apoint that one has to wait to get a machine to work out while the Gym itself dont wait to take their monthly payment from your account so that is another big turn off for me. so im still trying to see if i’ll see some change or else look for another alternative.
LA Fitness is clean, nice, large, etc. HOWEVER, they billed my account on the WRONG date, offered to changed the date and that was it. They would not offer to refund my money (which left my account negative) and that was the only option – to move my payment date the to the date I had requested when I signed up. The funny part, the representative who signed up my membership WROTE DOWN THE DATE I REQUESTED FOR and still they billed me on the wrong date. HORRENDOUS!
This is an exceptionally well-kept gym stocked full of modern equipment that is well maintained and rarely seems to go down. The gym itself is pretty much the same as any of the other LA Fitness locations that have been going up all over the nation. Two story building with the cardio area on the second floor, free weights and isolation machines, racquetball courts, basketball courts, and swimming pool.
The people here are pretty nice too. I try to avoid going into the gym in the evening, as it’s pretty busy. If you are the type of person who’s schedule only allows for you to work out in the evening, don’t let the business deter you. The fact of the matter is that there isn’t a gym out there which isn’t crazy busy from 5pm till 8pm and if you think you’re going to find a “secret spot” that isn’t you can be sure it’ll be chock full of weirdos and/or crappy equipment. The people at this LA Fitness club (can’t speak for anywhere else) seem to be aware of the situation and are considerate enough to increase their intensity when working through their routine and thus move out of the way so others can as well. The few times I had to visit during the evening I only had to wait about 7 to 10 minutes before an elliptical came available.
I like the fact that they keep the gym squeaky clean too. They even have carpet in the locker rooms. How cool is that? The staff really seems to put in the effort to provide not just a good FIRST impression…but a good impression each and every day. This extends to the pool area, weight area, common areas…even the parking lot seems to be policed.
I’ve read reviews about other LA Fitness locations and I’m glad that whoever is running this location has the right type of attitude, because it really shines though.
